This association is established to promote recreation soccer for the youth boys of Hamilton Township, New Jersey, and programs sponsored by the Hamilton Township Recreation Department. It is dedicated to developing each applicant's playing skills to his maximum individual capacity. This program is intended to be conducted in an atmosphere that nurtures a sense of sportsmanship and fair play, encourages teamwork as well as self-satisfaction and enjoyment, and applauds honest, continuous effort.
The HTRSA is a non-profit, completely volunteer entity and without the
help of all of our dedicated volunteers, this organization could not
operate. The Executive board would like to thank all volunteers who
continue to make this program such a success!
Please put in your child's date of birth to see season availability below (it may be blank if no DOB is entered)
Age should be between 4 and 18 as of October 1st, 2022
The fall season begins in early September. The season runs from September to early to mid-November. HTRSA is a recreational soccer league, however, for the older boys, we have standings and at the end-of-season party those teams are recognized for their achievements. After the regular season is complete, the older age levels usually have playoffs. Dependent upon age level, the Fall program includes 10-15 games. HTRSA also hosts a picture day to keep those treasured memories, trophies, and an end-of-season party. Games times vary like the spring, with the younger boys playing Saturday, Sunday or both. The older boys can play on one or more days during the week, Saturday, Sunday, etc.
If you have not done so, please enter your child's DOB in the fields above. The availability in Spring or Fall during the season will then show.
Players who have played the Spring 2022 will not have to pay the fund raiser option (buyout/raffles) again, as long as you register by the end of the season.
You must have played the spring for this discount and must register before June 30th, 2022
All Participants must participate in HTRSA fund raising.
Currently we are getting licensing from the state to run the off-premise raffle. We cannot sell tickets until we have the proper paperwork completed and authorized. Only the buyout is available right now.
You have two options.
Either purchase the Raffle tickets for $50 and receive 10 x $5.00 tickets. You can either sell them to family/friends or keep them. Deposit the stubs at HTRSA and you are in the drawing in October. Three prizes are awarded: $1000, $600, and $300!
No time for tickets? The other option is to "Buy Out" for $45. You will not receive any tickets and not be able to participate in the drawing.
The concession stand will be open and operating with parent volunteers.
We understand that some still have concerns regarding COVID-19 and will be offering a buyout from the concession stand. We will have some field cleanup, game day prep, and servers for picnics and/or parties also available. Ultimately, we REALLY need volunteers to make this program run. The cost to buyout is $30 per family per season.
Volunteer duties are typically 1 hour, to 1 hour and 20 minutes in the concession stand.
Room moms, PTA members, scout leaders, High School booster clubs, after-prom committee's, and the HTRSA just to mention a few... What do we all have in common? Volunteers! Did you realize that during every stage of your child's life, volunteers have been a part in shaping it? Be an unsung hero in your child's life by volunteering.
We are a completely volunteer, non-profit 501c3 charitable organization doing our best for all of the children! We are looking for like-minded individuals to further enhance and benefit this program for the kids. No experience is required, just a great positive attitude for the kids.
We always need caring volunteers in the following areas:
We want your child’s' experience to be a positive one and we will try to match up players with the buddies.
If a Commissioner
creates their Division by a Coaches Draft, all requests become null and void!
We will do our best, however, we expect everyone to understand that every request cannot be honoured. Requests that come in after the teams have been formed will not be accepted, and those players would have to go to a team that is in most need of players. We do not refund based on not getting a particular team assignment.
